Internship helped me be comfortable with the fact that I am a growing leader. It gave me a working vocabulary that started with “I need”. I have not yet encountered a community that is as committed to my growth as MK2MK. The feedback rich environment as well as loving Christ centered community who moved towards me in both my weakness and strength really catalyzed how I view myself as a leader. i came away from my summer a different leader, heck a different person than when I arrived.
It is a joy to now play a key role in leading internship now as staff, and watching these same moments thrive.
