The Basics
Who: College-age MKs who desire to have a ministry in the lives of younger MKs this summer and beyond (through MK2MK conferences, care trips, etc.). We are looking for interns who have a heart for the world and for making Christ known in word and deed, who want to help teenage MKs be effective in ministry, and who are ready to grow and be challenged.
When: May 14-July 12, 2024
Where: Orlando and South Africa
Cost: $3000+$1,500 take home per diem + airfare

Interns arrive in Orlando for four weeks of training, then help lead our Summer Mission. At the end of the summer, they will also have time to debrief the internship and complete their training for future involvement. See below for individual program details.
While mk2mk’s internship is an amazing opportunity to build community and care for MKs, it is also a professional developmental internship. Accepted interns will be expected to complete several developmental pre-work assignments during the spring semester before coming to Orlando. Interns will also be given important responsibilities both during training and during their summer assignment.
We hold interns to a high standard. Interns will be challenged and pushed out of their comfort zone. We expect our interns to work hard and be emotionally engaged while keeping up with a fast-paced schedule. With support from our intern leaders, we hope to create an environment where our interns will thrive and be pushed to the edge of their potential, allowing them to develop important life and relationship skills, as well as professional skills, including leadership, communication, and more!
