GLOSSARY OF TERMS

Dashboard - the opening page of the gosummer website.  Accessible only with your username and password this is your central tracking location for your progress in reaching your goal.  It has many useful tools to get you started and to track your progress and organize your to-do lists.

Designation # - essentially your ID # to direct the funds you are raising.

Gateway City - a main city in a region with a main international airport.  By running groups of our summer project through these Gateway Cities the travel agent can give us discounts on tickets.

MPD - Ministry Partner Development; you are not just raising money but building a team of sponsors and partners in your ministry so this term is used for the whole process of cultivating relationships and managing the sponsorship.

Project Coach - This is a member of our mk2mk team to help guide you through the process of project preparation.  While this will mostly involve your MPD it will also include spiritual preparation as well as any practicval helps they can give.
