Each summer, MKs from all over the world join together for international summer projects. We have gone to Botswana, Brazil, Uganda, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Argentina.
MK2MK is pleased to announce that we are going to Durban, South Africa for this summer’s project. Durban is on the coast of South Africa and is highly multicultural. There are opportunities to minister to people of various faiths so it will be an excellent training opportunity. We will be doing outreach with Crossroads, high school students and in the community through holistic ministry. Opportunities to serve through sports, drama and children’s ministry will also be part of our summer. Additionally we will be doing some rural ministry in an area near Durban. Apply early!

A visual appetizer for MK2MK’s 2012 Summer Project.
We will be serving in areas that are a blend of first world and third world; there is affluence but there is also extreme poverty. Some of our ministry opportunities will include Crossroads (HIV prevention education), children’s ministry, evangelism, serving under-resourced communities, sports and drama.
